Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 09/25/2008

Special Feeder Calf & Yearling Sale today. No comparison, since last Special was three weeks ago, and due to uncertainties in the market place because of what is going on with Wall Street. Calling the market $3.00 to $5.00 lower on cattle under 600 lbs.; and $2.00 to $4.00 lower on cattle weighing over 600 lbs. The receipts included 68 percent steers and 32 percent heifers. Cattle weighing over 600 lbs. was 47 percent. The next two Specials are October 18 and October 30.
