Receipts: 912
Due to a lighter run this week, a meaningful trend not possible today, but a steady to higher undertone was noted. Demand was good on a moderate offering today, especially on steer and heifer calves under 500 lbs. Several load lots offered today. Receipts included 54 percent steers, 44 percent heifers, and 2 percent bulls. Cattle over 600 lbs was 18 percent.

Trends:
Compared to last Tuesday, choice steers were steady to $1.00 higher with the greater advance on the heaviest weights. Choice heifers were
$.25 to $.75 higher. Not enough choice Holstein steers for a market test. Receipts were light due to the holiday weekend. One to two loads returned to the feedlots. Receipts were made up of 49 percent steers, 39 percent heifers and 12 percent Holstein steers.
