Compared to one week ago slaughter lambs under 130 lbs. 2.00 lower,
over 130 lbs. steady. Feeder lambs on a limited test steady,
slaughter ewes and bucks steady. Trade active and demand moderate.
Receipts included 70 percent slaughter lambs, 2 percent feeder
lambs, 27 percent slaughter ewes, 1.5 percent slaughter bucks, all
sheep sold on a per hundred weight basis.
Goats:
Receipts: 286 Last Week: 112 year Ago: 230
All goats sold on a per head basis. Trade active and demand good.
Receipts included 80 percent slaughter kids, 14 percent slaughter
nannies, 2 percent replacement nannies.
