DES MOINES – Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Bill Northey will be at the Fareway store off Indian Hills Drive at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8th to announce a partnership between Choose Iowa™, the Iowa Grocers Association, participating retailers and Iowa vendors.

The program will assist consumers in identifying Iowa grown, raised or processed products.  One of its main objectives is to emphasize the broad variety of high quality, safe and healthy products that are produced in the state.  Choose Iowa™ will also help retailers identify and promote local Iowa products for their customers.
