Avian Influenza

IDALS, USDA and the poultry industry work collaboratively to prevent, detect, respond and recover from foreign animal diseases such as avian influenza. The Red Book is the national framework for responding to an outbreak of avian influenza.  The Guidance for Iowa Premises Preparedness & Planning For Avian Influenza document is specific to Iowa poultry producers, to help producers prepare for and respond to an avian influenza outbreak.
