NORTHEY TO TAMA, BLACK HAWK, GRUNDY AND HARDIN COUNTIES APRIL 20

DES MOINES – Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Bill Northey today announced that he will be making stops in Tama, Black Hawk, Grundy and Hardin Counties on Wednesday, April 20.

Northey will visit the Dysart Historical Center, speak at the AMC Engineering Conference in Waterloo, tour Ritchie Industries in Conrad and meet with Ellsworth Community College animal science students in Iowa Falls.

Wednesday, April 20, 2016
Tama County – 8:30 a.m., visit Dysart Historical Center, 612 Chrisman St., Dysart
Black Hawk County – 12:00 p.m., speak at AMC Engineering Conference, Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center, 2015 W. 4th St., Waterloo
Grundy County – 2:30 p.m., visit Ritchie Industries, 120 S. Main St., Conrad
Hardin County – 4:30 p.m., meet with Ellsworth Community College animal science students, 707 Ellsworth Ave., Iowa Falls

Northey, a corn and soybean farmer from Spirit Lake, is serving his third term as Secretary of Agriculture. His priorities as Secretary of Agriculture are promoting the use of science and new technologies to better care for our air, soil and water, and reaching out to tell the story of Iowa agriculture.
